Find out what happens after dirty water from your toilet, shower and laundry goes down the drain.  Take a tour of Bear Valley Water District's collection facilties and wastewater treatment plant.

We offer free two hour tours for Bear Valley residents and students in middle and high school. Learn how we keep the watershed clean by safely collecting and treating dirty water and what you can do to protect the environment.

Tour Details

The collection facilties and treatment plant are located in the meadow behind a locked gate on the south side of Highway 4. 

Tours will begin at the District's Administration Office at 441 Creekside Drive.

Tours are available for groups of up to 15 people, larger by special arrangement.

School groups require one adult for every five students.

Attendees shall not take photographs during the tour.

Consuming food and beverages while on the tour is prohibited. 

Closed-toe shoes are required.

Children under age 10 are not permitted. 

We are unable to accommodate late arrivals once the tour begins.
